MRI & Imaging of Georgia is pleased to offer a new and completely non-invasive procedure to treat symptomatic uterine fibroids using the ExAblate® 2000 technology. Performed at our Midtown location, ExAblate combines Magnetic Resonance Imaging with focused ultrasound to destroy the benign but often debilitating and painful tumors. As an outpatient procedure which requires no surgical incisions or radiation, most women return to normal activities within 2-3 days. MRI & Imaging of Georgia is the first facility in the Southeast to offer this technology, and we are proud to present women whose symptoms qualify with the option of keeping their uterus and the opportunity to return to a pain-free life.

working to have the procedure covered by insurance. Until then, we will work with  patients to create an affordable financing plan.
